Fairy garden
We've had our three year-old granddaughter for a few days and it's been great, actually. I will say I'm tired and that I remember now why my house was never tidy. But watching her engage with the world fills me with joy.
We made this fairy garden together yesterday. Yeah. I'm going all Pinterest-y on you now.

Oh, the tired. I had my two-year old grandson for ONE day and was almost dead for days after. But, hey, when you can build a fairy garden or a train station that seems to them the BEST THING EVER, it's the only thing worth getting that tired for.
Precious. What an awesome grandma you are!
Pinteresty or not, what a great activity to do with her. She may one day be a gardener and leave lavender for the postman just like her grandmother.
Oh! How lovely. I thought of you and your love of all things garden kitsch, as I spotted some rather excellent garden gnomes gnoming it in Sugarhouse!
