It seems like things you thought would stay away for good--padded shoulders, bell bottoms, platform shoes--often stage surprising comebacks. Somehow, though, I can't see home perms doing the same.

Loved this article. Loved my perm in the 7th grade...it gave me Jr. High Hall cred.
This brings back wonderful memories of my mother's kitchen where home perms took place. And Sam had perms. I loved that curly head.
Oh my goodness. I can still remember the horrifying ball of curls that was my hair after my grandma convinced my mom that they should cut and perm my hair.
