Somehow . . .

. . . the topic of GUILTY PLEASURES keeps coming up with me. Like, I asked you at Christmas what your holiday guilty pleasures are. Yesterday I was listing my musical guilty pleasures, which I will share with you. But I'd like to hear what yours are, too.

MINE

1. Tom Jones (love it when he growls out I THINK I BETTER DANCE NOW in the song "Kiss").
2. Speaking of "Kiss," Prince does a good version, too. Prince. He/she/it is another guilty pleasure. A BIG ONE.
3. AC/DC. May the Lord have mercy on my soul.
4. The Beastie Boys. HELLO, NASTY is one of my favorite CDs ever.

I totally have one right now, firework, Katy perry. I tear up everyone. Remember I am pregnant though.

I feel old old old when you ask these music questions.
Okay, I STILL like Johnny Mathis and Barry Manilow. I know. I know.

John Denver and John Fogleberg, shouldn't be guilty pleasures if you ask me. And both singing in heaven.

MmmBop by Hanson. Also, I have seen the preview for that Justin Bieber concert movie and I am totally going.

Okay, Eminem. Not all of his songs, and the ones I like I do prefer edited, but man, that's a white boy who can rap! That beat comes on and I want to start pumping my fist and jumping up and down. Don't tell my husband K?

Oh, thank you Louise - because I was going to confess that, back in the college day, I used to put a Barry Manilow tape on during Cleaning Time, and my roommates would work REALLY FAST so I'd turn the damn thing off. But I secretly love him. A lot. Still. And you saw my Bon Jovi thing... (I think I'm a little eclectic - that's cool-speak for Crazy.)

I had Bat Out of Hell on vinyl and I knew all the words. Also the entire score of the musical Tell Me On a Sunday sung by Marti Webb. I think I'd better stop now...
