We Interrupt This Principled Discussion Again

Before we proceed, take a look at this.

Sara Z. provided this link for everyone who feels diminished by what they see on other people's blogs. It's a good reality check. I looked at it last night and suddenly wondered if this Principled Discussion is having the same effect on you, my Cyber Family.

I'm wondering if I've included too many success stories here. I want to make it very, very clear that I'm a muddler. I try and fail and try and fail and fail and fail and try some more, and it all feels incredibly messy. Not only that but I often revert back to that place where I don't take risks, where I don't pursue opportunities, where I don't do the real work. So I just want you to know we're all in this together.

Discussion resumes next week. This won't take long to wrap up. I'm almost out of principles.

I'm not really a writer, but this series has been very interesting. I read this article in the newspaper over here this week, and wondered what you thought about this development for self publishing and it you'd be tempted to use it?

I haven't read this yet, Amelia, but one of my goals for the new year is to self-publish an e-book. I have a feeling that more and more of this will be happening, and I want to educate myself.

I've loved these principle posts and really needed that "super mom...not" post. Am excited to hear about the self-publishing journey.

I don't think you need to worry too much. If you recall, you did post about wearing your running clothes OVER your pajamas.

I'm enjoying the principle posts and learning a lot. Looking forward to more!

Self-publishing an e-book sounds completely liberating. It's something I can get my mind around.

Thanks for that link. I really, really needed it. "Life isn't all finger paints and frittata." TRUE. But a principle or so won't hurt, especially from you, who are a goddess of this world and I mean it. This exact world.

This reminds me of a Christmas brag letter I received from a college roommate. She giggled in her letter about a monkey throwing her purse in the South China Sea. Of all the people I know you are the least threatening and most honest....much love to you....
