Letdown City

Well, we're back from it all. SF. The beach. The Fourth. And I'm trying to battle the inevitable letdown that happens after holidays. What's the solution? Banning holidays? Right now I'm almost tempted. NO MORE FUN, PEOPLE. Because when the fun stops, it's just not . . . fun.

Sorry. Give me an hour or two, a Dr. Pepper or two, and I'll snap out of it.

I have my Diet Dr. P., I have had lunch (GoLean Crunch with peaches, bananas and buttermilk--quite tasty and healthy), and I am ready for more fun. How about you?

I know exactly how you feel. It is a total letdown of a day. I spent it curcled in bed with a book.

The trick is not to care about the holiday in the first place? Although, come to think of it, it's not that great of a trick.

Wait, I know. The trick is to have something planned for the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that. Maybe with ice cream? and french fries. I am feeling a lack of french fries right about now.

Every day I wonder about this very thing. I used to be a veritable circus of fun every day....
When did I lose the funny?
