Oh, ugh!

I realized that it's Mothers' Day on Sunday, which means I am morally obligated to address that fact in Saturday's column. I'm not really a fan of the holiday, but when I once wrote a column for the D-News confessing that, you would have thought I'd said HEY! LET'S GO CLUB SOME BABY SEALS!

Gotta think of something to write . . .

Because Mother's day is so early, Easter is late, Mother's Day is late...weird...I wonder if anyone even knows it's mother's day.
The only reason I like Mother's day is that it is a reason to not do anything...I don't wash dishes, I don't cook...I just lay around and hit people with my scepter.
And wait for Monday...because then I wish wash Sunday's dishes, pick up Sunday's mess, and try to unbend my scepter. I don't have anything valuable to add...we all just sigh and hope for the best.

You should write a column about Mother's of Baby Seals that get clubbed.

You could write about my mom. She's real nice. My other mom (the in-law one) is pretty nice, too.

Yes, what is it like to be a mother-in-law?

Why would you take a baby seal with you to a club?
