Testing, testing, 1-2-3

Is this blog still working?

Yes.  I believe it is.  Thank you, Blog, for still working even though I've ignored you so . . .

We just returned from a stellar week at the beach, which led to this column.  It's hard to believe that my brothers and I are all grandparents now, watching our grandchildren interact with one another the way you used to watch our kids.

Wow.  Time.

If you're still reading, thank you.  I promise to try harder.

That article is as beautifully written as Newport Beach. Good advice from the Bean to Tutu as well.

I decided fear is something I WANT to speak out against fear. My last blog was well recieved because as it turns out we are all afraid of something. The difference is some of us came close to demise so we made it our cause. I will speak out against it every day. At church when I hear the gospel used as a hammer to keep folks in line rather than using the Savior...I will raise my hand and say no more. We cannot offend the Holy Ghost thereby depriving us of His protection because we are bad....no no no! We can move away from the Holy Ghost, but offend Him so that He arbitrarily leaves us? Uh no. I choose to have the influence of the Holy Ghost...I realize it is semantics but it is harmful to our souls. My love to you....we understand fear don't we?
