This month's book column

Here's the book report I did on nonfiction for kids.  I'm enjoying the opportunity to write a little more the Trib.

    I find this to be so true about my eleven-year-old son. I have tried so many books with him and while he'll gladly listen to Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, the only thing I can get him to read on his own--and by read I mean devour--is non-fiction. His favorite thing to read is National Geographic. Honestly, I wish there were more non-fiction for kids. Thanks for your suggestions, I'm off to the library to get some of them now.
