I've worried a little about Friday's post. I meant in no way to compare my experience with what the tragedy in Newtown. The event just triggered a memory about something I'd almost forgotten.
I didn't read your post that way at all. I read it just as you'd said--a sense memory of an anxious moment, triggered by an unspeakable event. Speaking only for myself, I've felt a little speechless since then. How impossible it is to say almost anything about this.
