But since I have a son who's getting married this weekend I'm going to let myself off the hook and aim for 500 words per day this week. I am, as you can imagine, busy with other things.
want to know how my warped mind works? here's how my warped mind works: "Oh, well, Ann is writing 500 words a day less than I am. That means that in order to keep the universe balanced, I need to write 500 MORE words a day."
so I'll be writing 1500 words a day until after your son's wedding.
(my son still says he's going to marry me not some *girl* so I'll be free this weekend.)
I think 1000 words is a lofty goal on any day. In fact, I decided that for Carol's marathon 1000 words was my goal + 500, just for the extra challenge. So far. I'm almost on track. Almost. And there's no weddings going on here. Enjoy yourself.
Go, Ann, go.
ReplyDelete500 words is still downright lofty as far as goals go for mothers-of-the-groom.
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration, always.
Congratulations! :) I hope the day is as beautiful as you.

As soon as I read Louise's comment I started singing, Go Speedracer.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's the song I will end with. Go Speedracer.
Way to go! Enjoy the wedding!
